Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Convenient location (not as overstimulating as other locations - e.g. Shibuya, Ginza, Shinjuku) - but still plenty going on in Asakusa and easy access to everywhere we needed to go. From an accessibility perspective, pretty reasonable, step up into bathroom and that was it. Beds were comfortable, everything was really clean and tidy. Housekeeping and reception staff were professional and helpful. Provided excellent toiletries, even provided special items for my son which were super cute and made him feel special - which was a lovely touch. So, so convenient to have laundry facilities on site, especially if travelling for a while and running out of clean clothes, or travelling with kids. Overall, really positive experience for our first stop in Japan! Rooftop view was incredible!

The location of Kanzashi Asakusa was perfect! Sensoji temple and the numerous markets were a few minutes walk away, literally around the corner. Just a little further were restaurants, shops and the railway station, placing this hotel in a very convenient location. The rooftop area also had a wonderful view of Tokyo Skytree and the temple area. The staff at this hotel were very accommodating and there was a Lawson's convenience store a few doors away. This is not a large, flashy hoteI with lots of facilities, but a smaller, boutique style hotel. I loved Asakusa and it's history, and it felt very safe for a solo traveller.

This hotel was great, when arriving to the hotel it’s close to the metro station only being around a 10-15 minute walk. The staff greet you whenever you enter the hotel and are very friendly, the staff also appear to speak fluent English. When entering the hotel room it is spacious especially compared to other hotels in the Tokyo region. The hotel room has controllable, high-quality air conditioning. The room was very clean and the bathroom was very nice even including a bathtub. Overall I would recommend this stay to anyone who is looking to stay in Tokyo in a nice, affordable hotel.

The room we booked was a corner twin. Having heard how small rooms in Tokyo are, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of room we had. The beds were bigger than a single and were very comfortable. Everything was supplied for you in the bathroom, not just shower gel and shampoo but toothbrushes and toothpaste, face cloths, skin care products and more. The hotel was in a great location, and the best thing about the room was the view. We arrived late at night and opened the curtains to see Skytree, the Sensoji Temple and the 'Golden Poo.' I really knew we had arrived in Tokyo!

Location is excellent. Casual 15 minute through the markets to Toei, Tobu and Metro train stations at Asakusa. Also close to Tsukuba rail station. Taxis pass the door all the time and on several bus routes. Temple markets and covered market streets within 5 minutes’. Any Japanese shop you want is right there. Excellent view from the roof. Kids amusement park right next door. At least 10 Lawsons or 7/11 within 5 minute walk. Sensor-Ji temple 2 minute walk. Very clean and great shower. WiFi ok for downloading maps, bookings, iCloud backups etcetera.
